Telemarketing is a method of direct marketing done over the telephone. This is also known as 'cold calling' as the receipt of the call has not requested that you contact them. There can be many reasons for telemarketing and here are the main points.....

We can either work from your own database of contacts or if you do not have one we can provide a database that matches your exact requirements so we are not wasting our time and your money on calling individuals that would have no interest in your product or service.

There is no set price here as each database is unique to your own individual business. When you request a price our local agent will contact you to gain more information about your business and what you want to achieve from our telemarketing service. We then create a perfect database that matches all your requirements and the price is based on the number of contacts within the database. If the database is too large then you can specify the maximum number of contacts you wish to purchase.

When we have all your requirements we then insert all this into our system and the system automatically outputs the contact database based on your specifications. Some of the criteria (but not limited to) we select is....

• Geographical location
• Industry
• Credit rating
• Years in business
• Number of employees
• Exclude businesses with CCJ's
• Limited Companies, Non-Limited or both.

If you select to purchase your contact database from Tele-Max then this will be provided in a spreadsheet format which includes the following fields....

• Company name
• Full company address
• Telephone number
• Credit rating
• Credit limit
• Date the company started trading at that address
• Number of employees
• Industry description
• Contact name
• Position of contact
• Fax number (if required)

PLEASE NOTE - The database will NOT include email addresses.

The TPS register also known as the Telephone Preference Service is a database of business owners that have requested not to receive any unauthorised sales calls. If you are providing your own contact database it is very important that you have already checked to make sure that none of the contacts listed are included in the TPS register or the business owner could start action against you.

If you purchase a contact database from Tele-Max then we remove any businesses that are included in the TPS register and you are not charged for these contacts.

At Tele-Max we like to take the more informal approach when cold calling. Although we create a basic script specifically written for your business we feel that it is more important to not to sound like a robot. When we cold call businesses on your behalf we want the receipt of the call to feel relaxed so a more personal approach is applied.

Yes, all our local agents are fully trained in the art of telemarketing by individuals who have been doing the job every day for many years and doing the job very well. We feel that taking the text book approach to telemarketing training is not the best thing to do. It is important that all our agents are aware of all aspects of telemarketing. It is also important that our agents remain positive even if they are having a bad day where each call has a negative response.
